A brilliant evening to celebrate National Licensing Week!

On Friday evening, BIBF member Walaiti Rathore, founder of Licensing Law Consultancy, hosted a spectacular black tie event at the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham, bringing together representatives from across the hospitality sector and beyond.

The evening shone a spotlight on the critical role licensing plays across every walk of life; from hospitality and entertainment to business, community, and culture.

It was wonderful to see several BIBF members in attendance, adding to the spirit of connection and community that defines our network.

A heartfelt congratulations to Walati on an outstanding evening; a true reflection of the passion and professionalism he brings to the licensing world.

We are proud to announce that the British Indian Business Forum will be supporting Reach Learning Disability as our chosen charity at the BIBF Annual Dinner 2026 on the 27th February 2026 at Goosedale.

Every week, Reach empowers more than 250 adults with learning disabilities across Nottinghamshire to live happier, healthier and more independent lives. Through five welcoming centres in Mansfield, Newark and Southwell, including the vibrant Flower Pod Southwell, they provide 70 weekly courses, evening socials, supported holidays, day trips and specialist projects that create real opportunities for growth and connection.

Their work extends to supporting family carers, providing supported living accommodation, and delivering outstanding one-to-one care through Reach Care CIC, rated Outstanding by the CQC.
