Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) Youth Service supports young people (11-25 years) living with a wide range of long-term medical conditions, along with the siblings of the patients, in both Children’s and Adult Services.

Join us next Weds 4th November, during National Youth Work Week to receive your AQA Awards Certificates from the past year and celebrate with us!

Parents are invited too!

Our young people were involved in the first ever 15 Steps Challenge for our Children's Hospital today!

Working alongside the Patient Experience Team, they were able to take part in a 'Mystery Shopper' style event to see what the wards & clinic areas were like for young people and then give their feedback.

Well done to all involved...you smashed it! 🎯🔥

The People First Recognition Awards reflect the importance and value of our people, and allow us to recognise, celebrate and reward staff across the Trust for making a real difference.

Our Patient Experience and Quality Award recognises staff who demonstrate a commitment to patient experience and quality of care.

Heather was nominated by the Rheumatology Team for her positive contribution and countless ways in which she actively supports young people in our care.

Winners in all of the categories will be announced at the awards ceremony on 12 November. Good luck Heather!🌟

Join us before Youth Club on Wednesday 28th October to take part in a workshop to give your ideas for an animated video.

The video will help give young people the information they need to know when in hospital and learn more about Martha's Rule.

There will be a slice (or 2) of pizza up for grabs and a chance to gain an AQA Accreditation.

Parents are welcome too!

FLASHBACK! 📸
We had a great time with Inspire Youth Arts when artists came to do a project at Youth Club about ‘Escapism’.

The young people got involved in all things creative and used VR to see their creations come to life!

The link below shows the video that brings the project together. The soundtrack to the video was created from sounds the young people made.

The image shows all the ways the group ‘escape’ from life’s stresses 🥰
