This evening the Regional Finals of our Masterteam (Quiz) Competition are taking place at Adeyfield Free Church, Dunblane Cathedral Halls and the Newport Centre - our very best wishes to all of the teams that are taking part and aiming to book a place at the National Final in Northern Ireland on 14th March!

Tonight we’ve had our final session of 2025 and watched our Christmas film thinking about the Nativity. We were joined by Mary & Joseph Posada and also enjoyed our film and snacks. They’ve now settled for the night after their long journey so they’re ready for their next stage tomorrow. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Peaceful New Year and we’ll be back in the new year.

This Friday, our Company & Seniors were getting into the festive vibes and made sausage rolls and chocolate orange muffins. They also did some crafts making snowmen ⛄️ tree ornaments and had a go at some Xmas dingbats and song quiz. Apparently the boys would like to do the sausage rolls and muffins each week 🥳🤣. Next week they’re attempt the BB Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2025. Let’s see what they’ve been aware of what’s gone on and remember 🤞🏻.

2nd round of the National BB MasterTeam competition was held tonight, and our team came 2nd and qualified for 3rd round Regional Finals (English/Welsh final)

Tonight our Chess ♟️ team played their 1st round of National Chess competition against 2nd Sutton in Ashfield. Our team game out as winners 7.5 v 1.5 which is a great start to our 2/3’s new team. Thank you to 2nd Sutton who are also starting with a new team and wish them all the best in the future.

Last night our Anchors, Juniors, Company and Seniors had an evening thinking about children & young people less fortunate than themselves via Children in Need and also about this weeks Anti Bullying Awareness Week. We thought about how we can help each other and others around us & how we can make a bigger impact next year to raise funds for children & young people in the UK. This led to a fun evening learning facts about Children in Need & Quizes as well as making Pudsey badges, Nerf attack , Pie Pong (leading to leaders with pie in their faces 🤣), and making cookies (washing up included) in relation to Pudsey & Children in Need. Our Company & Seniors would like to that our young leaders that arranged and organised their evening as well as putting themselves in the firing line 🫣😂. Thanks Andrew, Jack & Sam a great evening had by all.
