Itβs been a month since Go-Flexi was expanded in West Fife β and we want to hear your views to make the service even better!
Go Flexi is an on demand bus service, funded by Fife Council and operated by Moffat & Williamson, which provides flexible, sustainable travel within designated FlexiZones.
Unlike traditional bus routes, Go Flexi allows customers to book journeys in advance, choosing pick up and drop off points at local bus stops within their zone. Trips can be booked up to a week ahead or as late as one hour before travel, using the Go Flexi mobile app or by phoning the booking line. Concession passes, cash and contactless payments are accepted, and vehicles are accessible for wheelchair users, prams and assistance dogs.
Following a successful trial and in response to passenger feedback, Go Flexi West Fife currently operates:
β’ Monday to Thursday: 8.15am β 5.30pm
β’ Friday and Saturday: 8.15am β 11.15pm
The service connects communities including Saline, Steelend, Bogside, Blairhall, Oakley, Comrie, High Valleyfield, Cairneyhill and Kincardine, while also linking the Forthbridgehead area with Cairneyhill, Ferrytoll, Europarc and Inverkeithing Rail Station.
It is designed to complement, not replace, mainstream bus services by providing onward connections at key interchange points.
With the expanded Go Flexi West Fife service due to run until mid August 2027 at least, weβre looking for people to share their experiences and suggestions to help shape the future of the service.
