Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice recently held its poignant Forget-Me-Not Service at Carnmoney Presbyterian Church, to remember and honour the precious children who hold a place in each of our hearts. ✨

The annual service is always a deeply meaningful moment and a suitable way in which to begin Children’s Hospice Week. With music and readings from poems, families celebrate their child’s life by lighting candles and contributing drawings and written recollections to the memory rainbow. 💜

“Though we need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place in our hearts,
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.”

Nearly 14 Years of Smiles at Horizon House 💜

Colin has been attending respite at Horizon House since he was just 15 months old, and nearly 14 years later, he still looks forward to every visit.

Known affectionately by Colin as "Horizon Hotel", it's a place filled with lots of fun and somewhere he has everyone wrapped around his wee finger!

For Colin's family, Children's Hospice is about so much more than specialist care. It provides valuable time to rest, recharge and take a break, knowing Colin is safe, happy and having the best time.

This Children's Hospice Week, we're sharing stories like Colin's to highlight the difference your support makes. By helping us Turn June Purple, you're helping ensure local children and families can continue to access the care, respite and support they rely on.

⛳💜 What a fantastic day!

On Friday, the Ballymena NI Hospice Support Group alongside Ballymena Chamber of Commerce and Tom Wiggins, hosted their annual Golf Day at Galgorm.

Despite battling some breezy conditions on the course, spirits remained high as teams enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, camaraderie and fundraising in support of Northern Ireland Hospice and Children's Hospice.

We're delighted to share that the event raised an incredible £16,000+, with every pound helping us continue providing specialist care and support to local patients and their families when they need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, sponsored the event, donated prizes and supported the day in any way. Your generosity and commitment make events like this possible.

Finally, a special thank you to the Ballymena NI Hospice Support Group for organising yet another outstanding event. Your dedication and continued support of Northern Ireland Hospice is truly appreciated. 💜
