A very special visitor joined us at Horizon House! ✨

Thanks to The Character Co., Peppa Pig spent a fun-filled day with George, Ruby, Katie and Harry. Peppa shared stories, danced and had lots of fun with the children, bringing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. 💜

It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and enjoying time together with Peppa. A big thank you to The Character Co. for making the visit possible and for spending time with us! 👏

🎭MR DARCY IS COMING TO BELFAST GRAND CENTRAL

A little regency romance, a whole lot of 80’s hits and a very special cause.

This Saturday 10th October, the cast of Pride and Prejudice 80's Hits! will be taking over at Translink Belfast Grand Central Station for a special pop-up performance in support of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice! From 1pm, catch Mr Darcy, Elizabeth Bennet and the cast bringing their show to life with music, dancing and fabulous regency costumes.

Our wonderful volunteers will also be there collecting donations to help support local children and their families who rely on our care. 💜

A huge thank you to Aisling, Karl and their son Regin! 👏

The family’s connection with Horizon House began in 2025 when their daughter, Nora Mae, was referred to NI Children’s Hospice for end-of-life care. During this time, the family received support from our team at Horizon House, including sibling support for big brother Regin and ongoing bereavement support. 🌈

Since then, Aisling and Karl have shown incredible generosity through the donation of a privacy pram and Story Dream Machines for Horizon House. These meaningful donations were made possible through money raised at a Coffee Morning organised to mark Nora Mae's first birthday, along with money that had originally been set aside for Nora Mae's pram. ❤️‍🩹

Their thoughtfulness and kindness in making these donations will make a lasting difference to the children and families supported by Horizon House. 💜

40+ Northern Ireland schools have already said YES to Kindness Counts! Will your school be next? 📚

Right now, we can only open 6 of our 10 children’s hospice beds, and we need your help to change that.

By taking part in Kindness Counts, your school can help raise vital funds for local children and families.

Plus, the first 60 schools to sign up and fundraise will receive free bereavement training for up to two members of staff from our specialist Social Work Team.
