On Friday past (30th January 2026) we had a visitation from Louise Logan (& her husband Hugh) from Blossom Ear Clinic to give the men a presentation on Ear Health & looking after our hearing (or what’s left of it!).

It was very informative & gave us many pointers as to what to do & more importantly what not to do to protect our hearing.

Been a while since i posted pic,s , This was due to a combination of things but im now able to post again and hope to get back to normal , This pics show a project i was given and along with other members did a bit of restoration and Give it to Hillcroft School in ,Mossley , We also made 3 planters and six bird box,s and donated some paintings and pyrography work, The school and the children were over the moon for the items we made them and as usual it was a pleasure for us to make them for the school , you can see more photos on the schools web page ,

Recently the Man-Shed held a promotion for several days at Tesco,s Northcott , It was to let folks know were we are and what we do at the shed , It was a really good few days and great to see so much interest shown by the general public, So much so we did get several new members , Also Tesco,s once more made a much appreciated donation to N.A.M.S , We are delighted to be able to carry on our involvement with Tesco,s and a big thank you to them once again for all their support to N.A.M.S

Today we had a visit from " The Urban Chef " Mark , Mark has visited us on many occasions to help us learn how to cook various meals , Today was Indian food and Mark explained how to make Curry paste and all the spices one can use, He made us a Madras curry with veg rice, Poppadom's and Greek flat breads , This was one of the nicest curry's I've ever had and all the others guys agreed , Mark it was an awesome dish and huge thank you again for coming and cooking for us , Some the guys want him back next week lol ,

Hi Folks, John and Brian recently met with the National Lottery and im pleased to say that they have agreed to fund the shed again and have given us £20,000 this year, This will be a great help to the shed and it continues our long association with the National Lottery , So on behalf of all the members both guys and girls , Thank you so much to The National Lottery Community funding Awards for All , And we really appreciate the help again and for all the others years of support ,
