PUPILS in primary schools across Belfast are to benefit from Irish traditional music tuition thanks to support from Glengormley School of Traditional Music.

⚠️ Reminder: There are no classes this Thursday night!

Edmund Rice College are hosting their annual Prize-giving Night this Thursday - which means our classes can't run.

BUT it does give you an extra week to practice and have that little bit you've been unsure about a bit more time to perfect!

Today, we received a very special delivery of 130 tin whistles, kindly donated by Maria Rafferty from the Glengormley School of Traditional Music and Martin from Féile an Phobail.
We are thrilled to be part of this pilot program, giving our pupils the opportunity to learn traditional music! Following all the excitement of the summer Fleadh, the children can’t wait to start practising their new instruments. 🎶

Our P7 pupils are looking forward to starting their weekly tin whistle lessons and developing their musical skills, thanks to this wonderful support. 🎵

We are absolutely delighted to have received a fantastic donation of 90 tin whistles from Glengormley School of Music for 🎵💚

Ray and the team at Glengormley School of Music have always been incredibly supportive of the development of music within our school and the wider community. Their generosity and commitment to helping children discover the joy of music is truly appreciated. 🌟

This wonderful donation will make a real difference to how music is delivered in our school, giving our pupils even more opportunities to develop their musical skills, confidence and creativity. 🎼👏

🪈 Today we had a special delivery from Ray Morgan and Maria Rafferty of Glengormley School of Traditional Music and Áine Mc Cabe of Feile an Phobail. They have provided 100 tin whistles for our Year 5 and 6 children! We are delighted that our children are going to be involved in this pilot programme receiving tuition in traditional music! After the buzz of the fleadh in the summer, the children are so excited to get going on their new instruments!
