💙 Inspiring Conversations, Building Confidence, Creating Connections 💙

We recently had the pleasure of visiting UTC South Durham in Newton Aycliffe to meet some incredible young people and share the work of Lifeline Community Action.

What made the visit so special wasn't just talking about our charity, community projects, and future opportunities. It was seeing young people grow in confidence, ask thoughtful questions, and share their own experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to Lyndsey and the team for inviting us. Hearing that students felt comfortable, engaged, and excited about visiting the Hub means the world to us.

💬 Some of the feedback from students included:

Ryan:
“Cheers for coming in, I’m looking forward to coming to the hub and seeing how it runs.”

Jack:
“Cheers for coming in yesterday. It was a really good talk. My favourite part was hearing about the relationships you made with the public over your years in the police force. I also enjoyed getting an insight into the Lifeline Community Hub.”

Bobek:
“Thank you for taking the time to come and speak to us. I really enjoyed listening to your life story.”

Lewis:
“It was good to meet you. I really enjoyed hearing about your life experiences. I’m looking forward to coming to the Hub for a visit.”

Tilly:
“Thank you for coming to see us. I really enjoyed meeting you and hearing all your stories. I’m excited to come and visit the Hub and see what you do there.”

At Lifeline Community Hub, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to connect, learn, grow, and feel valued. We can't wait to welcome the students to the Hub soon and continue building these important community relationships.
