A huge well done to our Empower Her Girls for all their hard work at Bread & Butter! ๐Ÿ‘

The girls helped unload the van, pack food into bags, carry bags to peopleโ€™s cars, and chat with members of the community throughout the session. They were a fantastic help and represented the project brilliantly.

Most importantly, they all enjoyed giving back and making a positive difference in their local community.๐ŸŒŸ

What a fantastic day on the Stephenson Trail!

Recently, we were joined by a brilliant group of new volunteers from New Life Church Sunderland for a litter pick along part of the trail. With the sun shining and plenty of enthusiasm, the team got stuck in and made a real difference.

Together, we collected:
๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ 15 bags of litter
๐Ÿ”ฉ Large amounts of scrap metal
โ™ป๏ธ Lots of plastic waste
๐Ÿ’จ 3 discarded vapes
๐Ÿช‘ A chair
โš ๏ธ A nitrous oxide canister

A huge thank you to everyone from NewLife Church Sunderland, United Kingdom for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts have helped make the trail cleaner, safer and more enjoyable for everyone who uses it. Weโ€™re looking forward to working with you again soon!

Weโ€™d also like to thank East Sunderland Community, the East Area Committee and the East Area Environmental Services Team for their continued support.

Great teamwork, great results, and another step towards a cleaner, greener community. ๐Ÿ‘
