About now, Jamie, Dan and George are about to set off on their epic ultra marathon, raising money to support a bereavement suite at Darlington Memorial Hospital maternity ward. They're calling it the Nine Hospitals Ultra!

They're visiting all hospitals within our Trust and are aiming to be at Darlington Memorial Hospital tomorrow morning.

We'll be broadcasting live from the All Saints' Church in Darlington as the Well-Versed community choir perform.

They'll be singing a selection of tunes, some you'll know, some you might not, but rest assured, it will be a fantastic evening of music.

If you want to come along in person, tickets can be purchased on the door, or you can listen for free in your hospital bed or on DAB+ across Darlington, Newton Aycliffe and Bishop Auckland.

Three inspirational local lads, Jamie, Dan and George are planning on running an ultra marathon on Saturday 16th May. They're running 100 miles to support a bereavement suite at Darlington Memorial Hospital maternity ward. They're calling it the Nine Hospitals Ultra!

Starting at Peterlee Community Hospital and visiting another 8 hospitals within the Trust along the way, they'll continue running until they arrive at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Sunday 17th May.
