🌞🎪 Combe Village Show is THIS Sunday — and it’s going to be a gorgeous, sunshine‑soaked day of fun!

Pack your suncream, your sunglasses, grab a picnic blanket, maybe even a couple of cushions for extra lounging luxury, and come spend the day with us at Hearn Field. We’ve got brilliant stalls, delicious food, live music, fun dog show and, of course, legendary children’s entertainment!

** Stars of the Show Spotlight No. 19: Soul Pizza Truck **

🔥 Soul Pizza is coming to the Combe Village Show — and you’ll want to arrive hungry! 🔥

Born in early 2021 from a love of great food, great people and great moments shared, Soul Pizza has spent the last few years travelling the country, firing up festivals, parties and celebrations with their legendary neapolitan style sourdough pizzas.

Now they’re rolling into Combeinteignhead to join us at the Combe Village Show — and we couldn’t be more excited.

Working from their beautifully converted Vauxhall Movano, they hand stretch every base to order and cook each pizza in a roaring log-fired oven. The result? Pure joy in a box.

A couple of irresistible highlights from the menu:

🍕 Pickleback — Dartmoor bourbon sausage, smoked chorizo and Dorset Red pickled shallots

🍐 Pear Necessities — poached pears, Blue Moon Stilton, balsamic glaze… plus optional spicy kimchi for the brave.

Please don't forget to donate your pre-loved books - and those tenderly nurtured plants that you've discovered you actually haven't got room for ☺️- to Combe Village Show. Every donation will help towards the ongoing upkeep of Hearn Field, our beautiful community space.

Book donations can be dropped off at Hearn Field Pavilion, Thursday 9th - Saturday 11th July, 9:30am - 3pm and plant donations can be dropped off at the same location on Saturday 11th July, 9:30am - 3pm.

As we get ready for Combe Village Show on Sunday 12th July, we’re looking for donations of plants and books to help stock our much‑loved stalls.

If you have spare seedlings, cuttings, garden plants, or books you’ve enjoyed and are ready to pass on, we’d be so grateful.

Every donation helps raise funds for our community spaces and makes the show even more special.

We’re delighted to welcome James Deane Blacksmith, a skilled local artisan keeping the heritage of hot forged ironwork alive.

James creates beautiful, functional pieces using traditional blacksmithing techniques — shaping red hot steel by hand into items built to last a lifetime. At the show, he’ll be showcasing a fantastic range of his work, including:

We’re delighted to welcome Southern Belle Creations to this year’s Combe Village Show — bringing beautifully handcrafted jewellery made from reclaimed cutlery.
