“I have always been ecologically aware since I was a Blue Peter viewer in my childhood and since having children it was very important to me to live as chemically free as possible, motivating me to make my own cleaning products and cosmetics. Since I was a toddler plants were special, I loved being in the greenhouse where my pet spider and toad lived, even at two I was fitting the stereotype of a witch! I had always assumed everyone could communicate with plants the way I do, and I now allow them to guide me to create the products I make. I have an idea of what I want to create, for example a scent that invokes the energy of the Green man or captures a moment in time like Yule and the rest just comes, the plants will show themselves to me and we build from there until the balance is just right. It’s a collaboration between me and plant spirit!”
