On Thursday evening Michael Barber came to demonstrate how to make a chocolate Swiss Roll look gorgeous.

He showed us how to make a different kind of frosting. He spread some of the frosting into the prepared Swiss Genoese sponge. Rolled it and cut off the rough edges. Using a St Horn Nozzle, he neatly iced the top of the roll, then decorated it with raspberries, mint leaves, chocolate and dried micro herbs.

We all tasted a slice of the roll and it was absolutely delicious.

What a very pleasant way to spend our 10th Birthday Party.
