Pizza with the peelers 🚔🍕
Our seniors had a visit from Paul and Jordan who are apart of our Newcastle community policing team!
They didn’t come empty handed 🍕 and they gained a few new suspects… and that was just our staff 🚨
This was a brilliant opportunity to build positive relations between our young people and the PSNI and most of all there where plenty of laughs had!

A big thank you to Action Mental Health for hosting our young people for a fantastic day out at Harry’s Place in Ballynahinch! 🥰

Harry’s Place is a lovely café, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. ☕️🧁

Our young people had a brilliant time meeting and collaborating with the young people from All Saints Youth Group, taking part in interactive games, having fun and building new friendships along the way. 💪🏼

A special highlight of the day was celebrating our young people’s achievements as they received their Peer Mentor certificates for their participation and commitment. 🎓

It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, teamwork, new connections and plenty of great memories! 💃🏽

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the day such a positive and enjoyable experience for our young people. ⭐️

🥋 Senior Martial Arts Workshop (6:00pm–8:30pm)
Come along and try something new with a one-off session facilitated by Savage Martial Arts. No experience needed – just bring your energy!

🎉 Friday 14th August
🌈 Community Fun Day (1:30pm–4:30pm)
Bring the whole family along for an afternoon packed with live music, magic shows, circus workshops, arts & crafts, a bouncy castle, snacks and so much more!

🍕 Wednesday 19th August
🚔 Pizza with the Peelers (6:00pm–8:30pm)
Grab a slice of pizza, meet your local neighbourhood police officers, ask questions, have a chat and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends.

Today marked the last day of our Junior Summer scheme! 🥹
It has been such an amazing week! It was such a good celebration of the youth within our community engaging in new adventures! ⭐️
We just want to mention a special thank you to
Smalls Butchers and Donard Bar | Tap Room | Newcastle for supporting us with all the food for the young people! 🍔🌭🍕
Also a special thanks to the parents for supporting us this week! 🤗

This week at Newcastle YMCA 🥳

We are so excited to kick off tomorrow with our junior summer scheme followed by our senior summer scheme next week! 🌊 ☀️

🚨There will be NO EVENING DROP IN this week or next week while our summer schemes are on! 🚨
