Newbiggin Arts Centre is a volunteer run, community venue for arts and crafts. This page is for information only. Registered charity number 1163002.

If you have any queries please contact us at [email protected] or tel 07766 856365. We hold classes and clubs across both our Front Street and Gibson Street sites, for anyone who would like to learn or improve their arts skills, as well as regular exhibitions of work by our members and local artists. We cover drawing, watercolour, acrylic, oil and water-soluble oil painting as well as a wide range of general craft activities, and will be expanding our range of classes in 2023. The charity was formed in August 2015 to serve the local community in and around Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Northumberland. Our objective is to advance education in arts and crafts for the local community; in particular, but not exclusively, by providing tuition and art/craft facilities.

A fantastic recent workshop with Juliet.
Making fused glass Christmas cards.

Everything is off to the kiln now, for firing, and everyone said they really enjoyed it.

Keep an eye out for future fused glass workshops, as they get booked up really quickly.
