Double donations until 13th October...

From today, we're delighted to be taking part in the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund.

For one week only, every pound donated to our No More Violence Against Women campaign will be matched💰

This funding will help us to:

• Train WI members to become No More Violence Ambassadors.
• Develop new educational resources and campaign materials.
• Increase understanding of domestic abuse, including coercive control and other non-physical forms of abuse.
• Equip members with the confidence to speak about violence against women in their communities.
• Support members to organise awareness events, talks and local activities.
• Encourage community action during the UN's 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

Donate today and share the campaign with someone you know: https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS00000GLdgHYAT

A captivating talk from Suzanne Kemp at last nights meeting, all about The New Forest. 🌳
The ancient rights of commoners, horses moustaches (they grow them to protect their lips from the thorny brambles!), Stallions, cattle, pigs, birds and the flora and fauna.
We also learned of the importance of The New Forest across the world. 🌍

Lots of insights and interesting facts.

Aren't we lucky to live in such a wonderful part of the world?

A bookswop 📖, tasty homemade cakes 🍰 a 1970's quiz 🤔 and lots of fun with a chance to catch up.

See you next month! 🐝

Tonight, our speaker will be Suzanne Kemp on the Ancient rights of commoners and how they shape the landscape. We are really looking forward to hearing from her. 🌳🐎🫏🐄🐖

Remember to bring a book 📖for tonight's bookswap and choose something new to snuggle into Autumn with!

See you at 7pm. 🐝
