Lighting the Future of Neston Civic Hall NC*C

Neston Civic Hall is a vital community venue, bringing people together through theatre, music, dance, education and a wide range of community events. However, our performance lighting system is now outdated, unreliable and increasingly expensive to maintain, limiting the quality of productions and raising concerns about long-term safety.

NC*C are seeking to raise £50,189 to install a modern, energy-efficient lighting system that will transform the experience for performers, audiences and hirers alike. The upgrade will help attract more productions, increase community participation, create new opportunities for learning and creativity, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of the hall.

To unlock additional grant funding for the project, we need at least 20 backers, and ideally 50, by December 2026. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and demonstrates valuable community support.

🎳 Neston Crown Green Bowling Club Needs You!

For over 100 years, crown green bowling has been part of Neston's community. Sadly, declining membership means this much-loved local club is now at risk of closure.

We want to help keep this wonderful tradition alive! 💚

Whether you're an experienced bowler or have never played before, everyone aged 16 and over is welcome!

✅ A great way to meet new people and make friends

✅ Enjoy gentle exercise and fresh air

🏅🏃‍♀️ SHE DID IT! WELL DONE, STEPH! 🏃‍♀️🏅

A HUGE congratulations to our amazing Steph, who completed the Chester Marathon on Sunday! 🎉👏

Not only did Steph conquer an incredible 26.2 miles, but she has also raised a fantastic £1,160 for Neston Community Youth Centre! ❤️

🌟 Every penny raised will go towards supporting our Young Voices of Neston group, helping us continue to provide opportunities and activities for young people in our community.

Would you like to better understand ADHD and how it affects everyday life?

We're delighted to welcome ND Directed CIC to Neston Community Youth Centre with their InSight ADHD Education and Support Programme.

This FREE, science-informed programme offers a friendly, supportive environment to explore ADHD, build confidence and discover practical ways to make everyday life easier.

✨ What will you learn?

✅ How ADHD affects attention, memory and emotions

✅ Understanding behaviours and recognising patterns

✅ Practical strategies for planning, routines and communication

✅ Building confidence and reducing feelings of frustration

✅ Understanding and supporting yourself or others with ADHD
