🐾 Meet Buster – our handsome 3-year-old Staffy cross looking for his forever home. 🐾

Buster was originally rehomed from us as a puppy, but through no fault of his own, he has sadly found himself back in our care.

Unfortunately, Buster wasn’t well socialised in his previous home, meaning he now needs slow, patient introductions to new people and can be reactive around other dogs. The good news? It doesn’t take long to win him over – treats are definitely the way to his heart! ❤️

Once Buster knows and trusts you, his true personality shines. He’s a goofy, playful, affectionate boy who absolutely loves attention and would happily climb onto your lap for a cuddle if you let him. He’s guaranteed to make you smile every single day.

Buster is looking for a child-free and pet-free home where he can be the centre of someone’s world. His new family will need to continue his training, particularly around other dogs when out on walks, and be committed to helping him build his confidence at his own pace.

This lovely lad has waited far too long for another chance at happiness. Now that opportunity is here, let’s not keep him waiting any longer.

Max is still searching for his family 💔.

Many of you may have seen us sharing Max for a while now.

Surprisingly, he’s one of those dogs who just doesn’t seem to get much interest. Honestly, we really can’t understand why!

Max has been a devoted companion to his family since he was a pup. Following a change in family circumstances, his current owner has become his only carer. However, with work commitments meaning he has to work away a lot, he feels it’s not fair for Max to be passed around to different people or to spend lots of time in boarding kennels while he’s away.

It’s a heartbreaking decision after so many years together, but one being made with Max at the heart of it. He deserves a permanent home, a routine and someone who can be there for him every day. ❤️

Max is a 6 year old Shar Pei x Golden Retriever - you can genuinely see both breeds in him!

He’s a playful, goofy boy who loves running and playing in the garden, but he also has some very typical Shar Pei traits too.

He can be a little unsure of new people, is fiercely loyal to his person, and likes to take his time building relationships. Once he trusts you, though, he has so much love to give. 🥺

We feel Max would be best suited to a home with adults or older teenagers. Due to his limited socialisation, he’d also prefer to be the only furry member of the family.

And can you believe this lovely boy was born on Christmas Day? 🎄

💙 Meet Fergus 💙

Fergus is a 1½-year-old wire-haired Dachshund who is looking for a very experienced and understanding home.

Fergus originally came into our care for rehoming after facing euthanasia due to aggression issues. Initially, he was a real challenge, but with time, patience and the right boundaries in place, we began to see a very different side to him. He became a happy, affectionate boy who wanted to be involved in everything going on around him — and during his time with us, he showed no aggression or reactivity. 🥹

Fergus was recently rehomed, but sadly returned to us after displaying aggression when a high-value treat was involved. This has highlighted just how important it is that his next home is the right one, with someone who fully understands his needs and is confident in managing his behaviour.

Fergus needs an experienced, confident owner who is not a pushover, and who is willing to put clear boundaries, structure and a consistent routine in place. He needs someone who understands that giving him everything he wants, allowing him to become overwhelmed with toys and treats, or letting him run the household, will not set him up for success.

With the right guidance, boundaries and routine, we truly believe Fergus can continue to become the lovely boy we know he is capable of being. 💙

🏡 Fergus is looking for:
• An adult-only home
• A very experienced owner
• Someone confident, consistent and willing to maintain clear boundaries
• A structured, predictable routine
• No cats
• He may be able to live with another dog, pending successful introductions

Fergus is not a dog for everyone, and we want to be honest about that. But for the right person, willing to put the work in and help him understand what is expected of him, we know there is a really lovely dog underneath it all.

He needs someone who will advocate for him, guide him and give him the structure he needs to thrive. 💙

💙 Meet Duke 💙

Duke is a lovely 6-year-old crossbreed who came into our care after being found alone in his own home following the heartbreaking passing of his owner.

Understandably, Duke was a little unsure and bewildered when he first arrived. He had suddenly found himself in a situation he could never have expected, and everything around him was completely new. But once he gets past those initial nerves, Duke comes around surprisingly quickly. 🥹

He’s been loving his walks, although he can be strong to start with, and it’s been so lovely to watch him slowly warm up to our staff and volunteers and begin putting his trust in us. 💙

Sadly, Duke is really struggling in kennels. This is such a huge change for a dog who has already been through so much, and kennel life is proving incredibly difficult for him. What Duke desperately needs now is someone who can open their home — and their heart — to him as soon as possible.

Duke will need a calm, patient and understanding adult-only home, where he can take things slowly, adjust to all the changes in his life and, in time, feel safe enough to become the dog he once was again.

🏡 Duke is currently looking for a pet-free home (this is still being assessed).

He doesn’t need someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to give him time, reassurance, patience and the chance to finally feel secure again.

After everything he’s been through, Duke deserves to know what it feels like to be home. 💙

URGENT OUTDOOR HOME NEEDED FOR PEBBLE & CHUTNEY ☀️

These two beautiful girls were caught heavily pregnant from a feral colony a couple of months ago.

Pebble gave birth to 3 lovely kittens who we recently rehomed. Sadly, Chutney gave birth but her kittens were born early, had deformities and passed away shortly after birth.

Both of them have now been neutered so we are after a safe outdoor setting like a farm, stable or outbuilding they can live in and have their freedom away from people.

We are heartbroken to share that our lovely boy Lenny has passed away.

Little Lenny came into our care earlier this year following the sad passing of his beloved owner.

Over the past few months, Lenny has been in foster where he began to settle and show us his lovely, gentle personality. In the short time we had with him, he found a special place in so many of our hearts and will be remembered with so much love ❤️‍🩹.

A special thank you to his wonderful foster Jackie who spent the past months making sure Lenny felt safe, comfortable and cherished.

We’re so grateful that Lenny spent his final months surrounded by the company of the people and dog friends who cared for him so much.

Rest peacefully, Lenny. You will be dearly missed 🤍🙏

Lottie is looking for her adoptive home! 🎀

Who remembers Lottie, our 7 year old Frenchie?

We rushed to collect this lovely girl after she was urgently at risk of being put to sleep, having been passed between family members over the past couple of years.

A few weeks on and she’s now happily settled into foster. As her fosters would agree, she’s been an absolute dream! 🌸

Lottie is such a loving, affectionate girl with a lovely personality. She’s toilet trained and has settled into foster life beautifully, enjoying nothing more than some much-deserved fuss and love. 💕

She does have a playful side too! Her ball is a firm favourite. She loves a good run around and a splash in the water!

She’s also quite happy to have some time to herself so she really is a lovely balance of cuddles, fun and independence.

Lottie does have ongoing skin issues so she needs someone who is happy to keep on top of her skin care and regular baths. She’s a little trooper and never lets it stop her enjoying life. 💖

And when it comes to other animals… Lottie would quite like to keep the house and attention to herself! She can be reactive to dogs so she needs someone who is happy to work with this. She would be happy living with sensible older children!

After all the change she’s been through, Lottie is now looking for her forever family🙏 💕.
