Announcement:

Vegan Tapas unfortunately succumbed to the challenges of Covid, hospitality sector changes and staffing difficulties but with a renewed passion for not losing everything we worked so hard to build, we are excited to announce that the premesis will soon be opening as a super special and unique Non Profit Social Care Cafe.

The challenge - to tackle social isolation and help those in the community find value in their lives and interaction with others.

The solution - 100% free of charge. A safe warm space for anyone who needs it. Disability or not, socially isolated or not. Young and old, we want to bring people together.

The venue will be registered as a warm space for those unable or scared of putting the heating on at home. A domestic violence aware hub for anyone to come for help, someone to talk to, a breastfeeding friendly environment and safe place for mums, a place to read a book or have a game of chess or just relax.

Our prices will be unique:

Wifi - Free
Tea - A conversation with another person
Coffee - Maybe a game of cards or chess?

Read a book or magazine, chat to a stranger - conversations are so powerful. Everyone can make a difference here just by popping in!

We’re excited to see how it unfolds and grows around the needs of our community. We’re looking for volunteers and donations. Help us keep this going, evey penny can help us make a difference.

It is with great sadness that we must inform our loyal customers that we are closing the resturant until further notice.

Covid related difficulties, the slow return to hospitality and the forever increasing costs of fuel, utilities and ingredients has placed enormous pressure on us as a small independant business. As a concept where quality of our ingredients and the "everything made in house" commitment is at the heart of what we do - we can not continue to increase our prices to combat these challenges without further impacting our customers.

We really do hope to return one day soon, and hope that you have so far enjoyed our offerings. It is clear to see that whist we have not been busy enough to tackle these challenges, the huge number of 5* reviews we have recieved across all platforms shows just how fantastic our team have been in bringing something new and unique to the Wirral.

Again thank you so much for your support and hopefully we will open the doors once again soon.
