A huge thank you to The Red Lion, Parkgate, for hosting a fantastic Charity Day in support of MNDA Wirral! 💙

Special thanks to Ken Smith, Robert McLean, Stu and the wonderful band, and everyone who performed, helped organise the event or came along to support us.

It was a brilliant afternoon filled with music, food and community spirit, all helping to raise awareness and vital funds for local people affected by MND.

What a fantastic day out on the Shropshire Union Canal! 💙

The MND Association Wirral Group, in partnership with the Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust, enjoyed a trip aboard the converted narrowboat The Pot of Gold.

We started off with torrential rain, but it soon gave way to beautiful sunshine, allowing everyone to enjoy the scenery and wildlife along the canal. ☀️🦆

And we think Darren summed up the day perfectly:

“It’s been a boss day!” 💙

A special day at Blenheim Palace 💙

Our Wirral Group Leader represented the MND Association Wirral Group at a tea party alongside other volunteers from across the North West.

The occasion was held to thank volunteers for their dedication and service. Our Patron, The Princess Royal, met with volunteers and presented awards.

It was a glorious day, with guests also having the opportunity to look around the beautiful palace and grounds.

A lovely occasion celebrating the contribution of volunteers across the region. 💙

🏔️ They did it! The National Three Peaks Challenge — completed in 23 hours and 42 minutes!👏

A huge congratulations and thank you to **Helen and Nikki**, who took on this incredible challenge in support of MND Association Wirral.

Helen described it as *“the toughest thing we have ever done”* — and what an achievement it is! 💙

They have already raised an amazing £815 and we are incredibly grateful to Helen, Nikki and everyone who has supported and donated so far.

We’re delighted to share that The Red Lion will be hosting a Charity Day in support of MNDA Wirral on Sunday, 23 August, from 2:00–8:00 p.m. 💙

A huge thank you to Ian Walsh, whose brother Dave is living with MND, and to all the friends who cycled from Manchester to Blackpool in support of the MND community.
