Fingers crossed tomorrow ( Friday 12th June ) will be sunny & warm 😎☀️🏖️
50 Chinwaggers + volunteers will be making their way to the coast for our annual Tea By The Sea trip to the Hut. 🫖 🍰
Refreshments packed and ready to go , fish & chips ordered and ice cream hut ready for our orders. 🍦🐟🍟
We will be joined by Alan who will be entertaining us. 🎤

If you are making your own way to the hut then we look forward to seeing you from 11am.
If you are coming by coach, First pick up by Dan’s Coaches is 9.55am @ The Cadet hut.

Today’s the day of our June Chinwag. 🫖☕️🍰

Details as follows:
Wednesday 3rd June,
time 2pm- 4pm
Needham Market Community Centre - Official. ( please can we ask you don't arrive before 1.30pm as the volunteers will be setting up the room)

This month we welcome The Accordion Man for the first time to our Chinwag. He has come highly recommended from our friends who organise the Kesgrave Chinwag and we look forward to welcoming him to the group.

The jigsaw and puzzle tables will be back this month aswell as the donation table for the Stowmarket Food Bank. Thank you to everyone who continues to support this.

Buddy - our Chinwag cat will be back and looking for a home for the month. ( he needs a rest as had had a busy time doing some home visits with AJ Frank)

Trilly will also be joining us with her homemade cards. These are exceptional value so don’t forget to bring some change.

No booking is required and there is no cost to attend. We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces.

We will be confirming times and pick up points for our annnual ‘Tea By The Sea’ trip to The Hut, Felixstowe.

At our May chinwag we held our Spring Raffle which raised £260. This money will go towards keeping the group free to attend. BIG thanks to everyone who supported this either by buying a ticket(s) or donating a prize.

The 1st - 7th June is and it is the perfect time to say thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who so kindly give up their time each month. Everyone brings something different to the group but together a perfectly formed team is made.
They are all amazing and we couldn’t run the chinwag without them.

Our Walk On group took on a new route last week, between Stowmarket and Finborough! 🚶

We are expanding our walking routes to support bereaved people in the Stowmarket area, with more routes planned monthly.

The group stopped at the Chestnut Horse Pub for refreshments and a warm welcome from landlords Roly and Mandy. 💜

Our first fish & chinwag ✅
43 guests enjoyed fish & chips from Bonds & tea & coffee which was served by the amazing team of volunteers.
The hall was filled with lots of chatter and everyone left having enjoyed their lunch date.
