Wych-Malbank is Rotary with a difference.

We meet informally every week over coffee and bacon baps ( and once a month over b**r and w**e!) to plan how to raise as much money as possible in the most enjoyable way we can for our local community and beyond.

Today, Liz and our members were delighted to welcome Isabelle to our meeting! 🎉

Isabelle was one of two students we sponsored to attend RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), a fantastic five-day residential course held each August at Arthog Outdoor Activity Centre in North Wales.

Isabelle shared her amazing experience on the course, where she made great friends, stepped outside her comfort zone and took on some exciting challenges, including rock climbing and blindfolded night walks!

She also developed her leadership and teamwork skills, and to top it all off, her team won the competition! 🏆

We’re so pleased to have supported Isabelle on this fantastic journey and can’t wait to sponsor more candidates to attend RYLA next year.

Investing in young people and helping them discover their potential is what Rotary is all about! 💙
