Hi all just a quick update on camp

Unless we get more boys saying they are going and paying their deposit by next Mondays cut off the camp will have to be cancelled.

Just a quick reminder that tonight is our start of year information evening

Starting at 6:30pm in the church hall

We are looking forward to seeing all the boys again aswell as some new faces

As our summer break is nearing it’s conclusion we are starting to get ready for our new session starting.

We will be holding an information and recruitment evening on Monday 17th august starting at 6:30pm in northesk church hall.

We look forward to seeing as many on the night as possible, please spread the word as it would be great to see lots of new faces as well as returning members.

We have space in all sections for all ages from 5-18 years old

We are also on the lookout for any willing adult volunteers.

Company statement

We have been informed that there is word going around that we have let an other organisation down by not being able to supplying a marquee for an event.

We would like to confirm some facts on this.

We were contacted with a request for a marquee hire last week for an event in august, unfortunately we are unable to provide this at such short notice due to still being on our summer break.

We will always try to accommodate requests as long as we have ample notice, especially for anything over the summer period when our hard working volunteers take a well earned rest.

Hi all we hope everyone is enjoying the summer break.

Just a reminder the company and junior section are taking part in the festival kirking parade on Sunday 19th July meeting at the old town hall at 10am could everyone that is available please let us know, a good turnout is expected.

If you can only make the parade and not stay for the church service that is ok the more we have on parade the better

The company were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Robert Grainger past captain of the 28th Edinburgh company and long time friend of our company.

Our thoughts are with his family

His funeral will take place at mortonhall crematorium main chapel at 11am on Friday 26th of june
