SoundSational Community Choir Welcome to the award winning SoundSational! A North Lanarkshire based choir giving high quality musical experiences to our local community.

SoundSational Community Music are a not for profit Community Arts Organisation. Our HQ is based in North Lanarkshire, which is also home to our Community Choir. We have one of the largest Community Choirs in Scotland and whilst we maintain an open door policy to anyone who wants to sing, we perform to a very high standard. We are very proud to have performed with Hugh Jackman, Michelle McManus, Amy MacDonald, and many more! Also performed for the BBC, STV, Real Radio, Glasgow Life, CHAS, Network Rail/Virgin Trains, SMHAFF & we were also the opening act on stage at the preview/opening of The SSE Hydro in Glasgow!

What a night, what a sound and what a lot of voices! ❤️🎶

We had a ball singing for the very first Lanarkshire Choir Collective Concert with eight fantastic choirs and more than 400 singers!

Brought together by our very own boss Tommy Chambers, the project was all about celebrating the incredible talent on our doorstep and showing just how much we can achieve when we come together.

As part of the 2026 Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, the evening was a wonderful celebration of everything we love about music, bringing people together, building connections, and making a difference. 🥰

A massive well done to all the choirs, directors and everyone involved in making it happen. Huge thanks to our amazing host Edward Reid who was absolutely fantastic as always! 🤩 And of course, a special shoutout to Tommy for making this fantastic idea a reality!

We loved every minute. Here’s to the next one! ❤️

SoundSational do Vegas! 🎰✨

On Saturday night we turned Scotland into Las Vegas for our Annual Ball, and what a night it was!! 🥂

We had all the glitz and glamour, from a little bit of Elvis to the Vegas Showgirls, a whole lot of dancing and the excitement of the casino! 🎰✨

Most importantly, we came together to raise money for SoundSational Community Funds and the work we do in our community. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, sponsored, volunteered and helped make the night so special. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you!

And of course, a massive thank you to the brilliant team who helped bring Vegas to life — the staff at the Radstone Hotel, our fantastic host Edward Reid, Steve McKenna Events and his team, our band EPIC, Top Hat Casino, Johnny Palmer, who supplied and costumed our fabulous Vegas Showgirls Caitlin and Erin, Blue Parrot Events, and Little Star Balloons, amazing as always! 🎰✨

Here’s a little look back at SoundSational Vegas… and what a night to remember! 🥂🎲✨

And another memorable night for SoundSational as we took to the stage at the iconic King’s Theatre for Sing at the Kings 2026! 👑 🎭

We absolutely loved the opportunity to perform and share the stage with so many other fabulous choirs.

What a week it’s been for our singers….from joining over 450 voices for our Lanarkshire Choir Collective recording at Motherwell Cathedral, to taking to the King’s Theatre stage just two days later!

We never take these opportunities for granted and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who continues to represent SoundSational with such energy, professionalism and, most importantly, joy.

Another brilliant night doing what we love.

And……we’re just about to take in more new singers. Please get in touch if you fancy singing with SoundSational!

WHAT A NIGHT! The Lanarkshire Choir Collective is here!

We were absolutely delighted to stand alongside over 450 singers from eight fantastic Lanarkshire choirs in the beautiful Motherwell Cathedral for a very special recording.

It was a privilege to sing alongside Arietta, Cantabile, KC Choir, Motherwell Diocesan Choir, South Lanarkshire Schools’ Choir, The Farmers Choir and The Grace Notes….all brought together with our very own boss man Tommy at the helm with John, Sandy and Les capturing it all.

What a week it’s been building this track, from working with some tremendous musicians in the studio to finally bringing more than 450 voices together under one roof. Hearing it come to life on that scale was something pretty special!

And we have to say just how incredibly proud we are of our SoundSational family. You turned up, worked hard, represented us brilliantly supported others and gave everything you had.

We feel very privileged to be part of such a special project, bringing choirs and communities together in support of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.

Now we cannot WAIT to hear and see the finished result and share it with you all! And we cannot wait for our joint concert in October!

Different choirs. Hundreds of voices. One incredible sound.

Mon the choirs!
