Hi we offer a ONE OFF food drop off emergency package for those families that for one reason or another either would not ordinarily need help or be eligible for food bank help..all we ask is that your are 100% genuine and breif outline of circumstances. We’ve been getting lots of requests to deliver to families self isolating or waiting on test results but that doesn’t stop friends family and nei

ghbors dropping food in plus all the home shopping services are still operating...our service is for those in financial difficulty only.

Ok sorry folks it’s time for a very important message that people need to read, understand and hopefully make all our lives easier, as you are aware we are the most popular and busy foodbank in Lanarkshire and we know why, unfortunately that takes it toll on our bank account, we are not a registered charity and that’s our choice as to be honest there’s too much red tape plus we are only doing this part time outside of work and family life. We are on a one off emergency food bank for those that find themselves in an unfamiliar situation, we continue to post this information hoping that people who have had help previously see it and understand it, unfortunately that’s not the case no matter what we say people continue to request help and when we don’t reply personally they accuse us of ignoring them and they deserve a food parcel , NEWS FLASH we are not ignoring anyone you are ignoring us, if you can’t read a post and understand it then it’s not our fault, we are not obligated to help anyone, we shouldn’t be abused in any form from anyone, we understand more that most how desperate people are as we deal and see it everyday. We have an automatic response to all messages with all relevant information there is no need to continue sending messages, we are not a 24 hour service we are part time, if you don’t like how we operate I make no apologies for it there are other food banks you can try. So if you have made it this far thank you, hopefully everyone understands how we operate, the constant messages and requests for more help despite what we post really are taking its toll on us financially and mentally. So moving forward we will operate a one off emergency food parcel they way we started and hopefully be able to continue helping people in a small way
