Women of Wings 🎉 WoW Away Weekend is coming! Join us 14th–16th Nov 2025 as we celebrate 10 years of Women of Wings with a powerful weekend of fun, faith and fellowship! 💖

BSL Women of Wings (BSL WoW) is a BSL Women’s Ministry in UK as well as to provide opportunities, equipping and encouragement for Deaf or Hearing women who use British Sign Language (BSL) and from aged 18 onwards to grow into maturity in Christ through worship, fellowship and Bible study in their daily lives. The purpose of the WoW is to glorify God by challenging women:
- To have support and enco

uragement each other to know God personally.
- To grow in Christlikeness through life experiences.
- To have a fellowship and worship together with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To love and serve others for God’s glory.
- In all we do those things in unity with God, His Son and the Holy Spirit. The mission of BSL Women of Wings (BSL WoW)

Our aim of the name ‘WINGS’ is also linked to encourage women to soar on wings like eagles by renewing their strength through God’s power:

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men (women) stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:30-31

Hi all lovely women,

First of all, please accept our apologies for not being in touch since the WoW Weekend Away. With the Christmas season and some time for the team to rest and recover after the event, communication has taken a little longer than we had hoped.

We also want to say a big thank you for your support and involvement in the WoW Weekend Away. It was such a blessed and successful time together — praise the Lord! It was wonderful to see the community come together, and we are so grateful to each of you who helped make it so special.

At the start of the New Year, we launched a video, ‘WoW Update Year 2025’, looking back on everything that happened throughout 2025 and celebrating what God has done through the ministry for His glory.

🌸 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸

Today, we celebrate the beauty, strength, and dignity of women around the world.

This photo was captured from Wendy’s BSL worship expression, inspired by the modern worship song by Phil Wickham, based on Psalm 8, which reminds us of the wonder of God’s creation and how deeply He values every person.

“What is humankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?” – Psalm 8:4

Psalm 8 reminds us that God cares deeply for every person and has given us honour and purpose. On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, faith, and gifts of women. Together we worship God through BSL and give thanks for the women who bless and inspire our lives.
