It was fantastic to have Richard Baldwyn join us in the Food & Drink Theatre on Show Day👏
Richard did two brilliant demonstrations, showcasing the skills behind British turkey butchery and game butchery🦌

Richard runs a mixed farming system of sheep, cattle and arable with his wife, Suzie, and their children at Lower Clopton Farm. But there is so much more to what they do! The family also run a farm shop and café, a butchery, as well as hosting a variety of seasonal ‘pick your own’ events thought the year🚜🌾

🎃 And at the moment, pumpkin picking is on! From today until Saturday 31st October, you can head to Lower Clopton Farm and pick your own pumpkins between 10am and 3pm. All the details can be found on their website😁

And while you’re there, why not place your order for your free-range Christmas turkey?🦃

We love everything the Baldwyn family do at Lower Clopton Farm!
They represent all that is great about British farming: hard work, passion, quality produce and a real connection to the food we eat🍽️

The thrill of the Shetland Pony Grand National… we’re still not over it😍

It was fantastic to see the mini jockeys and their super steeds racing around the Grand Arena this year🐴

A huge thank you to R&R Catering & Event Hire Ltd, Perdix Partnership and TaylorMade Wealth for sponsoring the Shetland Pony Grand National performances and helping to bring the excitement to the Grand Arana😁

We hope you enjoyed watching them race as much as we did👏

A big thank you to the judges from Stratford & South Warwickshire NFU for taking the time to come judge the entries in our Game Bird Cover Crop and Wild Bird Cover Crop classes last Monday!🌾🌱

You may have spotted the National Hedgelaying Society at Moreton Show, near the Rural Attractions Ring. They’re pretty hard to miss, thanks to their fantastic hedgelaying display — as you can see in the first photo! 👀🌳

This Saturday, you can watch 100+ of the best hedgelayers from across the UK and Europe compete across 10 regional hedgelaying styles, all battling it out for the title of ‘Supreme Champion’. 🏆

🚜 Moreton Show Ploughing Match - THIS SATURDAY🚜
🗓️ Saturday 3rd October 2026

We are delighted to be holding our annual Ploughing Match this Saturday, by kind permission of A D Brain & Son🌾

Come and enjoy watching some traditional ploughing, with competitors showcasing their skills in the field🚜

We’ll also be holding a raffle to raise funds towards next year’s Ploughing Match, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs🎟️

A huge thank you to everyone who has kindly donated a prize! Your generosity helps us to continue holding this event each year💚

Please bring cash, as we won’t have the facilities to accept card payments💰
