Ilmington Village Hall is situated in a picturesque position on the corner of Foxcote Hill and Front Street. It was originally built in 1933 and was extended through a Millennium Project in 2000. In 2012 the kitchen was extended and refurbished to provide spacious, well-equipped catering facilities. True to its purpose of promoting leisure, recreation and education for the benefit of all villagers

, the hall is the centre for an array of community activities from yoga classes to film nights, as well as hosting concerts, wedding receptions and many other public and family events. There are currently eight regular user groups and many outside groups who use the facilities. The hall is also the location of the emergency heart defibrillator. The hall is available to be booked for parties and gatherings of many types. Screen-on-the-Green 🎶 Song Sung Blue

Friday 26th June will see a special screening of Song Sung Blue (12), starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson as the Milwaukee couple who find love and success as a Neil Diamond tribute act 🎤.

Based on a true story, this bittersweet biopic has been described by critics as a "sing-along, cry-along" film, with outstanding performances from its leads (Hudson was Oscar-nominated).

In celebration of Screen-on-the-Green's 20th anniversary year, we will also be offering you a free glass of bubbly and savoury bites. “Good times never seemed so good" 🥂!

Doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm start at the Village Hall.
Tickets £4 (£2.50 for under-18s) from the Village Shop or on the door.

Licensed bar, interval ice-creams and raffle available (cash only please).

WPD Ltd and Deeley Homes are excited to present a development proposal to the local community, prior to formal planning submission later in 2026.

You can view the proposal in more detail at the event to be held at Ilmington Village Hall, on Wednesday 24th June between 4-8pm 🗓️.

If you cannot attend the event in person, there will be an opportunity to view the plans and respond online.
