We won't tolerate disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour, unlawful or objectionable content. This includes any material which might be defamatory, offensive, infringing, obscene, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, blasphemous, indecent or otherwise unlawful or objectionable. It also includes any material which is aggressive, argumentative or likely to be construed as bullying. No spamming or repetition, please, nor off-topic material in subject-specific threads or areas.
*Moderation policy*
In general, we don’t moderate posts – except on the rare occasion that someone has used offensive language or made libellous allegations about named or identifiable individuals on our page. We have a duty to protect our staff and volunteers, so while deleting comments is totally out of character for us, our legal position is that any post containing a libellous accusations, should be removed. We’ll also remove any posts that in any way target individual teams or members of staff. If any correspondent has feedback to share about any individual members of staff or teams in the organisation, please get in touch with us directly so we can share our complaints procedure. If an individual continues to post offensive, threatening or libellous content then we’ll be forced to block that person from the page. ⚔️ Good news, adventurers! Summer of Play has been extended until the end of this week 🏰

There's still time to take on our medieval-themed Summer of Play, open daily from 10am to 5pm.

Try your hand at soft archery, challenge friends to hobby horse jousting, practise your swordplay, learn some medieval dancing, build a shield, and enjoy plenty more hands-on activities around the gardens.

Don't miss your last chance to join the quest before Summer of Play comes to an end!

It's your last chance to take part in our knight-themed Summer of Play adventure. Take on medieval challenges, enjoy family-friendly activities and make the most of the final days of the summer holidays.

Whether you're training to be a brave knight or simply looking for a great day out, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

🌅 Don't forget... we're open until 8pm tonight for the last of our Sunset Sessions!

Join us on Green Court for one final summer evening and enjoy a live performance from the Taunton Military Wives Choir from 6pm. 🎶

Tenants Hall will be open throughout the evening serving refreshments, so why not relax, soak up the atmosphere and make the most of the last days of summer with us?

Please note: Extended opening hours apply to Green Court and Tenants' Hall only. The Castle, Watermill and River Garden close at 5pm.

🎟️ Entry is £6.50 for non-National Trust members.

🌅 Join us this Thursday evening for the final Sunset Session of the summer at Dunster Castle.

On 27 August, Green Court will stay open until 8pm, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the evening light while Taunton Military Wives Choir perform live. Bring a picnic, or refreshments will be available from Tenant's Hall.

🎟️ £6.50 admission applies to non-members after 5pm.
🎼Music from 6pm

Please note: extended opening applies to the gardens only. The Castle, Watermill and River Gardens close at 5pm.
