What a lovely afternoon at home today 🎶❤️
A wonderful local singer Bettina Walker came to entertain our residents and had everyone singing along to so many well-known songs. One of the favourites was “Que Sera, Sera” — “When I was just a little girl…” 🎤😊
There was lots of smiling, singing. Thank you Bettina for bringing such joy to our residents today 💐

We loved welcoming the ukulele band for a fun singalong, followed by exercises with Chris using stretching bands and different movement activities. Lots of smiles and participation from everyone 😊

What a lovely morning we had today with a wonderful ukulele group performance for our residents! 🎶☀️
Residents enjoyed singing along to favourite songs including “Happiness” and “You Are My Sunshine,” with lots of smiles, clapping, and laughter throughout the session. It was wonderful to see everyone so happy and engaged.
A big thank you to the performers for bringing such joy and music into our home today! 💛

A little update from our vegetable garden!

As you can see, everything is growing beautifully and we are very proud of the progress. Our courgettes have done so well that the first harvest has already made its way to the kitchen for everyone to enjoy!

There is something extra special about eating vegetables you've grown yourself. We're sure they taste even better because of all the care and effort that has gone into growing them.

Today our residents enjoyed a lovely arts and crafts session painting and decorating beautiful floral wooden wreaths 🌸🎨
There was lots of creativity, laughter, and conversation throughout the activity, with everyone adding their own personal touch to their designs. A wonderful afternoon promoting creativity, wellbeing, and social interaction 💐✨
