Thank you to all the visitors that came along to our double initiation ceremony last night at St. David’s Lodge 366 last night. Your presence made the ceremony very special for our new initiates.
Also a heartfelt appreciation to all the brethren that assisted and attended in a very special ceremony.
The ceremony was later followed by a fish and chips festive board supplied by The Hake Inn fish n chips bar.

W.Bro. Mark Watson of St Brides Mark Lodge has been working tirelessly to raise vital funds for Swim Narberth CIO, the award winning swimming pool in the heart of Narberth that has been recognised as a leading community swimming facility in Wales. Significant investment of almost £340,000 was required for vital improvements so that the facility would remain safe, sustainable and fit for future generations. This investment includes roof replacement, the installation of a high efficiency ventilation system, solar PV upgrade and supporting electrical and mechanical works.

The challenge was for Swim Narberth to raise £40,000 themselves, which would then trigger a £300,000 grant from the Welsh Government Community Facilities Programme. W.Bro. Mark has garnered support from around the Province, the latest being a £500 contribution from the Dyfed Mark Benevolent Fund, being presented here by Provincial Grand Master RW.Bro. Gary Hicks at the last meeting of St Brides Lodge. W.Bro. Mark was delighted to report that despite the tight timeframe the target would be met!

Everybody wants to be a better man…
until it comes time to live like one.

This list?
It’s not decoration.
It’s not something to scroll past and agree with.
It’s a mirror.

Because Freemasonry was never about memorizing words…
It’s about becoming the man those words describe.

Keep your word.
Show up ready.
Own your mistakes.
Simple?
Yes.
Easy?
No.

Listening instead of talking.
Guarding your thoughts.
Speaking with respect—even when it’s not returned.
That’s where most men slip.
Not in knowledge…
but in discipline.

A real Mason doesn’t just point out problems—
He builds solutions.
He does the little things right.
He lifts his Brothers up.
He stands for truth—even when he stands alone.

And when pressure hits?
That’s where it’s proven.
Anyone can talk about values when life is smooth.
But when things go sideways…
Do you stay steady?
Or do you fall back into old habits?

This Craft isn’t about perfection.
It’s about consistent effort.
🔨 Day by day
📐 Thought by thought
🧱 Action by action

Because no one earns the title of “better man” in a day.
You build it.
Quietly.
Relentlessly.
Without needing recognition.

So don’t just read it, Brother—
Pick one.
Work it today.
Then another tomorrow.

That’s how a man changes.
That’s how a Mason is built.

Not just in the Lodge…
but in life.

Today the staff of the DAV (Dedicated Ambulance Vehicle) received a delivery of TLC (Teddies for Loving Care) from West Wales Mason's to give to poorly and sick children who they transfer to Glangwilli Hospital or further afield for further treatment/care. The DAV is funded by the Health Board since the downgrading of Paediatric services at Withybush and is staffed by the Welsh Ambulance Service.
The work of TLC is funded through the generous donations of Freemasons and their families. Many Freemasons also volunteer hundreds of hours each year to manage the scheme, deliver bears to hospitals, campaign to raise funds and increase awareness through events and roadshow...
