Fantastic to see Macclesfield's Danes Moss featured as one of national CPRE's On The Edge stories about at-risk countryside on the edge of towns. This precious lowland raised peat bog is home to nearly 1,800 (or more) species, stores masses of carbon, and provides breathing space for local residents - but is under threat of development.
