Spent your whole life being someone. The engineer. The driver. The manager. The one who fixed things.

Now you're just... retired.

Weird, isn't it? You wake up and you're nobody's colleague, nobody's problem solver. Just a bloke with too much time and not enough to fill it.

The Community Shed Winsford. It's a workshop where men come to make stuff and talk. But it's also the place where you remember you're still good at things. Still needed.

Checked your watch. It's only 10am.

Checked it again. Still only 10am.

That's retirement. Days that feel like weeks. Nothing on the calendar. Nobody asking for you. Just empty time you're supposed to be grateful for.

At The Community Shed Winsford, Tuesday morning means something again. Could be building a bench. Could be making something for the grandkids. Could be helping the lads sell what we've made.

Doesn't matter what. Just matters that you've got somewhere to be!

Watched some TV. Went to the shop. Sat in the garden. Same as yesterday. Same as tomorrow.

You didn't spend 50 years working to have nothing to say at the end of the day.

The Community Shed Winsford gives you something to talk about again. Projects. Plans. People. Purpose. You're not done. You've still got skills, ideas, things you can teach. You just need somewhere that wants them.
