We are Changing Lives Together

A charity based in Cheshire, focused on making a difference in the lives of local people and having an
impact on the wider environment. The team at CLT are on a mission to deliver innovative solutions for
environmental and social challenges which benefit communities
across Cheshire and surrounding areas. Our vision is to improve
the lives of local people, their environment and wellbeing, and
facilitate engagement that has a positive impact on the lives of
everyone in the community. Services include family support, help schemes, community hubs,
community groceries, surplus food distribution, retail and reuse
stores (paint, furniture, appliances and cycles), bulky waste
collection, and wellbeing services (mental wellness support, buddy
and befriending, and men in sheds). CLT also provide
opportunities for training, volunteering, skill development and
employment. We work extensively across Cheshire to support communities with
a wide range of societal challenges including providing support for
vulnerable and disadvantaged people, those experiencing
exclusion, and people who are isolated. Across a diverse range of
support, we help individuals, families, older people, young people,
people with disabilities and learning difficulties, and those who are
long-term unemployed. We strive to be a champion for recycling, up-cycling and
reusing, and a leading force in the fight against waste to help
save the environment and promote sustainable lives. We bring
this strength to the community, enabling people to feel more
connected to their local communities and empowering them to
live their best lives.

The amazing The Grape and Bean are hosting an 80s-themed quiz night in aid of our wonderful Buddy & Befriending in Cheshire, helping hundreds of lonely and socially isolated people every week.

📅 Friday 16 October

⏰Quiz starts at 7.30pm (bar open earlier!)
🥸Teams of up to 6
🎫Tickets £3 minimum per person, payable on the night
🎟️Raffle on the night, bring some loose change!
👗80s fancy dress optional… but highly encouraged 👀

🤯 How spectacular is this blanket / throw?

⭐️ It was made especially for us by the incredibly talented Katie from the Toppers of Northwich group (the creative people who make the pineapples and other knitted wonderfulness that you see around Northwich).

💚 Even though it’s worth over £100, Katie has generously given it to us to auction as part of our fundraising for Buddy & Befriending in Cheshire

🤫 We’re going to run a silent auction with the highest bidder then getting to buy and own this stunning blanket. It’d look beautiful in anyone’s home or make a fantastic Christmas present.
