We’re now into the final few days before we set off on our nail-biting, fingers-crossed and breathtaking adventure to the South of France! 🇫🇷
Two high-mileage, 20+ year-old cars will be leaving Melton and taking on 4,000 miles through France, Switzerland and Italy — and back again.
Oh… and because apparently driving 4,000 miles in questionable machinery wasn’t enough, we’re doing it all dressed as Toy Story characters! 🤠🧸
But behind all the madness, there’s a serious reason for doing it.

❤️ We’re raising money and awareness for the Harley Jae Trust, helping support children and families facing life-changing and life-limiting conditions.
So we’re asking for TWO things

💥 WE BUILT A PLASMA CANNON… WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? 💥

Give a man a bottle and he’ll be bored.
Give him a plasma cannon, a questionable amount of enthusiasm and absolutely no adult supervision… and he’ll be entertained for DAYS. 😂
Last night was a perfect example of why Round Table exists — building things we probably shouldn’t, making an unreasonable amount of noise, and laughing until our faces hurt.

🔥 Plasma cannons? Built.
😂 Questionable decisions? Plenty.
🧯 Fire extinguisher? Obviously.
🧠 Common sense? Still under investigation.

But now the toys are packed away and it’s time for the BIG ONE…

Our Toy Story-themed team will be hitting the road for the Skinflint Rally, raising money for The Harley Jae Trust.
Over 4,000 miles, a £500 car and absolutely no shortage of questionable decisions! 🤠🚗💨

We’ll also be getting involved in the Paddle, bringing the usual Round Table fun, teamwork and a healthy dose of competition!

And of course, we’ll be supporting the Melton B**r Festival! A fantastic local event and another great opportunity to get involved with the community.

What an amazing day! 🚗💨

A massive thank you to Stamford Round Table 611 for hosting us, and to Bourne Round Table for supplying the beverages! 🍻

It was brilliant to see so many smiles, chat to so many people, and tell everyone about the adventure we’re about to embark on in less than two weeks! 🌍🚗

There were so many photos taken with Woody and Jessie throughout the day 📸🤠👩‍🚀 — they certainly seemed to be the stars of the show!
