🎸➡️🎄 FROM FOOTLOOSE DIRECTOR TO… BUDDY THE ELF?! 😂

Well, that escalated quickly! 👀

One minute he’s directing us to cut loose in Bomont… the next he’s running around New York in green tights spreading Christmas cheer! 🎅💚

Our fabulous Footloose director, Jak, has swapped his director’s chair for an elf costume as he takes on the iconic role of Buddy in our friends at SKY theatre’s upcoming production of ELF THE MUSICAL! ✨

And judging by this teaser, you’re in for an absolute Christmas treat! 🎁🎶

💥 Call out for more cast! 💥

Our production team have been busy this week hosting auditions for our next show, The Wedding Singer! Call backs are still to go, but we can already see some gaps in the cast list that we need to fill to make this a fantastic production! 🎶

We are specifically looking for:
2x featured adult male roles (including solo singing and speaking lines)
Any age (youths must be 14+ to adult) ensemble members
You don't need to dance if you don't want to, or be a professional performer! You might even be a previous member who is ready to come back to the stage! What matters most is that you’re willing to get involved, bring your energy and enthusiasm, and have fun on stage. 💃

We rehearse on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in Melton, and our show week is week commencing 5th April 2027.
If you are interested and would like to find out more, please email [email protected]

A reminder of our meet and greet workshop, happening tonight! Come and find out more about our next production, including meeting the team and looking through audition materials.

Not a member of the conpany? There is still time! Email [email protected] to find out how to audition to become a member.

Hope to see you there!

And that’s a wrap! 🎭

34 cast, 4 production team members, 22-ish weeks of rehearsals, 19 songs, 5 performances and many cowboy hats and boots later… we have finished Footloose!

A huge thank you to our fabulous cast, crew, production team, volunteers and all our audiences for making this a brilliant show week! We are sad to see it finish, but want our cast to remember to: listen to what mama says, alway ‘send it’, bap-bap and if in doubt… cut loose! 👟
