We hate bag news but we need to let you know.

Overnight between 6pm and 9am this morning one of our planters got attacked/vandalised/robbed.

The lovely newly established rhododendron in the planter outside and opposite public house was ripped out and taken. Leaving a huge hole that we will fill again soon.

We thought we should let you know as a problem shared is a problem halved. x

Serving the community all this time. 👏🏻

For over 50 years, our beloved Boots store has stood proudly on Margate High Street — a true OG of the town centre alongside the nearby golden arches of McDonald's. Through all the changes, trends and seaside seasons, it’s remained part of the fabric of our high street.

Looks like it’s going to be a hot one this weekend too, so popping in for some sun protection, holiday bits or a cold drink might not be the worst idea before heading down to the sands ☀️

Our lovely High Street planters were attacked last night again.

This time it was dragged half way up the street and turned over on the plants themselves

Residents came out of their homes to rescue the poor planter at nearly midnight.

One person was assaulted and one person was arrested.

We will prevail and fix the damage but it takes a lot of strength to keep going!

We want the High Street and the surrounding area to be great again so if you have any ideas, or want to get involved or have a business that needs support please let us know as we can’t do it on our own!

We are trying to tidy our part of Margate High Street.

We are constantly removing illegal fly posters and stickers but we ask you as businesses to do your bit.

Ask your promoters to advertise appropriately, legally and with consideration.

Tidy up your part of Margate High Street

Be apart of the next tidy up event

Donate to the MHS CIC to help with cleaning costs.

Most businesses will put up a poster for you if you ask, so fly posting can be made redundant.
