The Branch may send up to three delegates, and to comply with UNISON’s rules on proportionality and fair representation, at least half of the delegation must be female.

All accommodation and travel costs will be paid by the Branch Office, and each delegate will receive a daily subsistence allowance.

All who attend are required to provide a written report on their conference experience. The written report will be circulated to the Branch’s Retired Members’ group and also presented to the Branch Committee.

The WASPI campaign is asking everybody - not just women - to email their MP.

The WASPI Campaign was founded in 2015 and continues to fight for justice for all women born in the 1950s affected by the changes to the State Pension Age (SPA). It is important to be aware that this issue does not affect just women. Changes to women's pension entitlements also affects husbands, families, children, grandchildren as well as elderly parents being cared for by these WASPI women.
