If you are considering switching to an electric vehicle (EV) for work or leisure or are interested in finding out more about the benefits of EVs, Electric Vehicles UK (EVUK) are hosting a free, drop-in Experience Electric Vehicles event in Manchester:

There’s a wide range of support on offer across Greater Manchester, including friendly groups, local routes, cycling courses, bike hire and inclusive wheeling sessions.

Most activities are free, making it simple for people to give it a go at their own pace even if they just start by swapping a short car journey. For more information on courses or routes near you -

When: 1 July - 12 September
Visit your local library to join the Summer Reading Challenge and set your own reading goal this summer!
Claim your medal and certificate when you finish, and if you read four books, you’ll be entered into our special prize draw. You can borrow and read any library books, stories, fact books, poetry and graphic novels all count! There’s even a Mini-Challenge for children under the age of four.
