So... it seems that the year has somehow passed us by so very quickly, and we had our last SBS for the year a few weeks ago now. Things were alittle different that week, having already wrapped up our study of Genesis for the semester the week prior.
Dressed up to the nines (for some), we had a night of food, fun, and fellowship! Spending one last week together before everyone heads back for the holidays. We said goodbye to those graduating or leaving this year, while also celebrating and recognised the effort put in by some particular people who have truly made SBS what it is today.
It has been such a blessed year, and we thank you ALL for joining us week in, week out to study the Word and spend time as one body in Christ. Platt truly is better together! Most importantly, we thank God for His many blessings over the year, for watching over us and guiding us through every high and low.
May we all continue to seek the Lord in the summer months, keeping the words of Jesus:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” John 15:5, 8
