Today, we had another productive Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training at Wadajir Hospital, bringing together dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to improving patient safety and the quality of care.

The session focused on strengthening the foundations of IPC, ensuring that every healthcare worker understands not only what to do, but why it matters. Through interactive learning, discussions, and assessments, participants demonstrated great enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.

A Small Step That Will Save Lives.

Today marks another important milestone in our partnership with De Martino Public Hospital in Mogadishu.

Working alongside the hospital’s dedicated leadership and healthcare workers, AIDA Health Solutions has supported the establishment of a Critical Care Observation Unit for patients with severe diphtheria.

While this is not yet a fully equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU), it provides a dedicated space where critically ill patients can receive close observation, oxygen therapy, timely medication, and rapid clinical intervention when their condition deteriorates.

Together, we have established:
✅ 6 dedicated critical care beds
✅ A dedicated nursing station
✅ Built-in medication cupboards
✅ Individual patient files
✅ Oxygen therapy points
✅ A fully equipped emergency trolley
✅ Healthcare waste segregation at every bedside
✅ Daily environmental hygiene and IPC standards

Sometimes improving healthcare isn’t about building new hospitals—it’s about making practical, achievable changes that improve patient safety today.

Today, we proudly launched the AUDITOR Digital Monitoring Platform as part of our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Training Programme at Wadajir Hospital, marking our first private hospital partnership in Mogadishu, Somalia.

This represents an important step in AIDA Health Solutions’ mission to transform healthcare quality through digital innovation, continuous quality improvement, and evidence-based Infection Prevention and Control.

The launch introduced healthcare professionals to:

* Digital IPC and environmental hygiene audits
* Real-time compliance monitoring
* Risk identification and corrective action planning
* Continuous quality improvement methodologies
* Data-driven decision-making to strengthen patient safety

🏥 IPC Training Continues at Martini Hospital

AIDA Health Solution is proud to continue strengthening Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices in collaboration with Martino Public Hospital.

This week, our focus is on the Postnatal and Maternity Ward, where healthcare workers and environmental cleaning staff are participating in hands-on training and practical demonstrations aimed at improving patient safety, environmental hygiene, and outbreak preparedness.

The training covers:

✅ Environmental cleaning and disinfection
✅ Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
✅ Healthcare waste management
✅ Infection prevention in maternity and postnatal care settings
✅ Patient safety best practices
✅ Outbreak preparedness, including Ebola readiness measures

With Ebola outbreaks reported in neighboring countries, strengthening frontline infection prevention systems remains more important than ever. Preparedness begins with well-trained healthcare workers, safe healthcare environments, and strong infection prevention practices.

🇸🇴 Ongoing IPC Training at Martini Hospital

AIDA Health Solution is proud to continue the official IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) Training for healthcare workers at Martini Hospital, with a special focus on the Maternal and Child Health Department.

The training aims to strengthen healthcare workers’ knowledge and practical skills in infection prevention, patient safety, and the proper hygiene and handling of medical equipment to ensure safer and higher-quality healthcare services for the Somali community.

This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Human Services, Federal Government of Somalia and under the supervision of the Hospital Labour and Staff Office, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare systems and improve service delivery across Somalia.
