A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our Lebanese Group Manchester picnic! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, welcome new ones, and spend the day together enjoying delicious food, music, dabke, games, laughter, and beautiful sunshine.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise, joined in the activities, and made the day such a success.

Lebanese Picnic – Sunday 28th June | 12:00 PM

Join us for a Lebanese Picnic at Chorlton Water Park on Sunday 28th June from 12:00 PM.

Expect a day full of fun, delicious food, exciting games, and lots and lots of music! The weather forecast is looking very promising, with sunshine and warm temperatures expected – perfect picnic weather!!

If you'd like to order some manakich, we will be offering boxes containing ½ Zaatar, ½ Jebne, 1 Lahme B Aajin and a salads (£10 per box).

Alternatively, if you prefer to bring your own food, that's perfectly fine! Water and soft drinks will be provided for everyone.

**Important Update for the Lebanese Community in Manchester and the North of England**

We are delighted to share that the Lebanese Embassy has announced monthly consular visits to Manchester, starting on Saturday 25 April 2026, and continuing on the last Saturday of each month. This is an important step towards making consular services more accessible for Lebanese living in Manchester and across the North of England.

This announcement follows the highly successful visit of H.E. Ambassador Farah Berry to Manchester yesterday, where the gathering saw strong engagement and positive interaction from members of the Lebanese community.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Her Excellency for her visit, her openness, and her continued support to the Lebanese community in the United Kingdom.

We also thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event

يسرّنا أن نعلن أن السفارة اللبنانية قد قررت تنظيم زيارات قنصلية شهرية إلى مانشستر، وذلك ابتداءً من السبت 25 نيسان 2026، وعلى أن تكون في آخر يوم سبت من كل شهر. وتُعدّ هذه خطوة مهمة لتسهيل الوصول إلى الخدمات القنصلية للبنانيين المقيمين في مانشستر ومختلف مناطق شمال إنجلترا.

جاء هذا الإعلان عقب الزيارة الناجحة للغاية التي قامت بها سعادة سفيرة لبنان في المملكة المتحدة، السيدة فرح بري إلى مانشستر يوم أمس، حيث شهد اللقاء حضوراً مميزاً وتفاعلاً إيجابياً من أبناء الجالية اللبنانية.

نتوجّه بجزيل الشكر إلى سعادة السفيرة على زيارتها، وعلى تواصلها المباشر واهتمامها بدعم الجالية اللبنانية في المملكة المتحدة.

A quick reminder about the upcoming visit of H.E. the Lebanese Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Ms Farah Berry, who will be meeting members of the Lebanese community in Manchester.

The Ambassador expressed a strong wish to meet as many members of the Lebanese community as possible, particularly from Manchester and across the North of England.

This is a valuable opportunity for members of our community to meet the Ambassador, share their perspectives, and strengthen connections within our community during these challenging times for Lebanon.

We had a wonderful Iftar today with the Lebanese community in Manchester, bringing together friends and families during this blessed month of Ramadan!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a warm and friendly atmosphere. At a time when our thoughts are very much with Lebanon, we continue to hope and pray for peace and safety for our families and loved ones back home.
