💔 Today rescue girls Poppy & Minnie went to the vets.
Many of you will remember these are the two girls who came to us after spending 6 months in kennels under a court protection order… scared, neglected, and with nothing but each other.
Thanks to their amazing foster mum, they are finally learning what love and safety feel like. Minnie has gained a little weight, although she is still very underweight. Sadly, Poppy’s breathing has become a real concern.
Today we received the news we feared… Poppy urgently needs full BOAS surgery costing £1019. 😢
We haven’t done much fundraising recently due to personal commitments, but right now we truly need your help.
If every person in this group donated just £1, we could change Poppy’s life together. Even setting up a small £1 monthly standing order could make such a huge difference to the pugs we rescue.

MPT please welcome Poppy (7) & Minnie (3) to the pug family ❤️❤️
These two girls have had a truly heartbreaking few months. Their elderly owner sadly lost capacity due to dementia, and Poppy & Minnie were left living in kennels since December with no home comforts, cuddles or reassurance 💔
Yesterday they finally arrived with their foster mum — dirty, smelly, underweight, overgrown nails curled into their pads, fleas, upset tummies and completely unsettled. They have come with absolutely nothing of their own… no beds, no toys, no blankets, no harnesses… just each other 😢
After months without the love and comfort of a home, they are slowly learning what it feels like to feel safe again 🐾
They’ve now had grooming, flea & worm treatment, warm beds and lots of much-needed snuggles. Soon they’ll need health checks, harnesses, toys, treats and all the care they’ve sadly gone without for so long.
If you could spare just £1 to help towards their care, we’d be incredibly grateful 🙏🏼

🐾 JAX IS HOME SAFE 🐾
This is Jax 💛
After a more complicated than expected surgery, he’s finally back where he belongs — safe, warm, and getting all the love he deserves ❤️
His castration turned into a much bigger procedure after vets had to track down a “missing” testicle, tripling the cost… but it had to be done properly.
He’s feeling a bit sorry for himself (and honestly, who wouldn’t be 😅), but he’s a young boy and should bounce back quickly 💙

Meet Jax, a 1-year-old Pug 💙 A sweet, loving boy who’s settled in well and just needs the right home to help him thrive.
Jax is still young, so he’ll need ongoing training and guidance. He’s eager to learn and improving every day, but will need time, patience, and consistency. He can get overexcited around other dogs and may pull on the lead, but he responds well with calm handling.
🏡 Best suited to:
• No small children
• No cats
• A committed owner ready to continue his training
✔️ Will be castrated before rehoming
Jax is a playful, affectionate boy who will make an amazing companion in the right home ❤️
