Foraging Workshop - with Cary-Anne. Saturday 6th June. 10.30-12.30 - £25

Cary-anne is a forager, author and herbalist. From a very young age she would spend all of her time in the garden with the plants making potions. As a teenager, she studied herbs and made her own preparations. In adulthood she studied an homeopathy degree and grew her own herbs. She now teaches foraging, is the author of Foraging and Folklore - The Wheel of Nature, a monthly calendar of UK foraging with plant identification, medicinal benefits, folklore and practical recipes, and spends summers giving talks and workshops at festivals.

Join Cary-anne for a 2 hour walk around the farm identifying wild plants and discovering how they can be used for food and medicine. You’ll take away knowledge that you will give you the confidence to harvest wild plants as our ancestors did to use in your own kitchen and to help with everyday illnesses for you and your loved ones. Meet our three bottle-fed lambs 🐑🍼

Unfortunately, these little ones either lost their mums or had feeding problems, so they’re now part of the bottle brigade and being fed 3 times a day.
🖤 Big Leon — our larger black lamb — is now getting through a whole bottle in one go!
🖤 Charlotte — is the smaller little black lamb
🤎 Gloria — our white and brown lamb, named after surviving treatment for fly strike… because “she will survive” 🎶
They’re keeping us busy, but they’re all doing brilliantly!

40 lovely lambs and counting. It’s been a beautiful April ☀️
