Marldon Local History Group M.L.H.G came into being on 11th Sept 2001 & now has 4 open meetings a year The Group’s Open Meetings are held in March, June September(A.G.M.)

M.L.H.G.,since being established in 2001, has consistently maintained a membership of more than 100. and December and attract attendances of 70-plus Members and non-members. Our annual subscription is only £5, which includes free admission to all Open Meetings. We have recently completed a wonderful DVD about the village of Marldon, and this is selling beyond our expectations! The word 'history' o

One of our founder members, RAY BOND, sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 16th 2025.

Ray will be fondly remembered within the History Group for his photographic archive and for all the work he put into our Group DVD "The Story of Marldon"
