If you are serving or ex services or have family members who are then why not get yourself along… it’s a wonderful inclusive group, it’s a wonderful way to reconnect and build incredible friendships through banter camaraderie and a great breakfast

We were honoured to represent Macclesfield today as part of Armed Forces Week ..we made sure today’s parade ran smoothly, and could happen from coming under our charity umbrella also….Our branch work hard in this community year in year out and are very active in the veterans arena in our wonderful town.

Together we are stronger ..and we will continue to be at the heart of every forces event going forwards as we have been for over 50 years…well done everyone today, people who were all part of making it a successful event ..Anthony Harrison..All Members of Macclesfield RBL, the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire Susan Sellers, Macclesfield MP Tim Roca, All the veterans from Macclesfield Vets Breakfast Club, All the Sea and Air Cadets .. all the stall holders and other associations …and everyone else …who turned up 😃, with whom the day would not have happened thanks for turning up and making it work

Great to be part of the raising of the Armed Forces Week standard today at Macclesfield Town Hall.. thanks Cheshire East and to all others involved in making this happen, we at Macclesfield RBL work tirelessly to ensure this takes place along with others across our wonderful town year round

On this day 82 years ago, tens of thousands of courageous British and Allied soldiers, sailors and aircrew took part in the D-Day landings, the largest seaborne invasion in history.

Today we remember the service and sacrifice of all those involved, commencing the liberation of France and Western Europe and turning the tide in the Second World War. Together with personnel from the United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Denmark and Poland, British forces showed immense courage, and endured great sacrifice.

We will remember them.

Macclesfield Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club have moved location!

They now meet at Broken Cross Club on the 2nd Sunday of every month apart from in June when they will meet on the 7th. Be there 0900 for 0930.
