Anyone like to foster some baby trees ? Our fostering program is open again.

We supply you with a tray of about 25 trees (or more if you want), some pots, some potting mix, fertilizer, a water bottle and as much advice as you need. You look after them at your place until you are ready to hand them back. If you can find good homes for them yourself – great. If not, we will.

Right now we have the following trays available:
Rowan
Crab Apple
Dog rose
Variety Pack

Hi folks,

We are still on the lookout for mature wild service trees in the area. We know of 2 or 3 that are old enough to fruit but they are all a bit of a trek.

If you know about any please let us know. [email protected]

At this time of year they'll have white flowers like the photos. The tree wont be particularly big. It has funny looking leaves ( see photo).

It's No Mow May! 🌼🌻🌺🌸

Why not leave a wild patch in your garden or on your lawn?

What is No Mow May?
No Mow May is a campaign by Plantlife, encouraging people to stop mowing their lawns for the month of May (and hopefully beyond!) 🐝

You can leave your whole lawn, or just a patch or two, to grow wild, it’s totally up to you!

Why take part?
By leaving grass uncut and letting wildflowers bloom, you’re creating a habitat that supports biodiversity. This helps pollinators like bees and butterflies, provides shelter for other invertebrates, and offers food sources for birds and mammals.

We’d love to know who’s taking part this year? 🌿

We are 5ish today ! Well probably last week but let’s not be picky. Thanks to everyone that has helped over this time. Too many people to list individually. It would go on for pages and pages. There wouldn’t be many people in Macclesfield not on it 😊
