Making more of what we have.....

Attack your To-Do list and get your things mended: clothing, electricals (we LOVE lamps), electronics, textiles, woodwork, toys, general bits and bobs, sharpening. We have proper tea and coffee plus delicious cakes.
You’ve seen on TV how Repair Cafes are growing. We take care of more than 50 repairs at each event, so bring us yours!

⏰ Open Saturday 8th august 10am till 2pm
No need to book. Just drop in before 1.30pm so we have time to fix.

⏰ Time: 10am–2pm, but please check in by 1.30pm so we have time to fix!
💷 Cost: No fixed charge. Instead, your kind donations mean we can meet our running costs and hall hire. Thank you!
🧐 How: Bring your item along and sit and chat with a volunteer as they work on it with you. No booking needed.
🧁 Delicious home-made cakes and proper hot drinks available. Gluten free options too.
♻️ Our purpose: To help keep your items in use for longer, save money, share some practical skills with you, reduce what goes into landfill and provide a welcoming community vibe for everyone.

We also repair electricals, electronics, woodwork, mechanical items, toys, pushchairs, bikes and more. And sharpen blunt things!

BEFORE YOU DITCH IT, SEE IF WE CAN FIX IT!
Got a broken thing, clothing or textiles that needs mending? Before you throw it away, check if one of our repairers can fix it for you? Saves you money and reduces the number of items sent to landfill. And you may pick up some repair tips while you're with us.
Our repairs can handle: Sewing, household electricals (lamps, kettles, blenders, coffee machines, and more), bikes, mechanical and wooden items, gadgets, audio/visual equipment, toys, sharpening ….
Yes, there’s a café: Delicious home-made cakes and proper tea and coffee available. Some gluten free options too.

Volunteer Ric looked into how we can increase the Repair Café’s influence on CO2 emissions by investing in carbon reducing projects to impact global warming.
We’ve made a donation to the Woodland Trust offset scheme accredited by the UK Environmental Agency www.woodlandtrust.org.uk
Thanks Ric. Another lovely example of how the generosity of our community is creating a positive ripple effect.
