Fostered in Lymm, Cheshire

Nero. He is very sweet but nervous, he will need a patient home. You can win him round with food! He would suit a young child free home or with kids 10+. He's looking for a wife-bun to settle down with and we're sure he's desperate to find a new companion after losing his wife-bun. Likes nibbling sticks, digging, tunnelling. Roaming time in the garden during day light hours. He used to spend time with his bunny companion behind the raised beds - lounging, digging, eating. Enjoys scrambling through the tube and other narrow passageways. Hides under the hutch (where it is also very cool on a warm day).

HISTORY: 2023 He was abandoned. Left behind to perish. He was rescued by the RSPCA. Birmingham RSPCA branch took care of him for 6 months then he was transferred to our branch. 2024 He was adopted but he recently lost his companion and his owner isn't in a position to take on another rabbit. He is still with them until we find a new home.

Outdoor housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed/house or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum of 60 sq. feet of secure covered floor space, normally a run and it has to be 3ft in height attached securely to the rabbit house, with the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment are most important!

Did you know that if you hit a cat with your car, legally you do not have to report this to the police? 🐈

Drivers legally have to report if they hit other animals including dogs, pigs, horses, cattle and goats, but sadly cats aren't covered by the same legislation.

Cats are much more likely to be affected by road traffic accidents, which is why we're calling on the UK Government to ensure that reporting cats hit by cars becomes mandatory.

This comes after a member of the public, Kellie Watson, launched a petition after her kitten was fatally hit by a car. Sign the petition here: https://bit.ly/4jYbSyM

Private boarding Rode Heath

We sadly learnt that a rabbit had been dumped in a cage in Macclesfield. Then she was let out by someone to roam. Thankfully, with the help of locals and our feral cat trapper the little bunny was found and caught!

Jasmine is a quiet and sweet little girl who will happily hop over for her food. She’s a very tidy rabbit and uses her litter tray. She can be a bit shy at first but is fairly laid back and just enjoys your company.

We have had her vaccinated, microchipped. Upon starting neuter operation they discovered she was already neutered. She had a Cancerous lump which was removed from her right groin and she is now fit as a fiddle! She has a small cyst that our vet said is of no concern.

She needs a pet free home but would love a neutered Buck to make friends with. She requires a minimum of 60 square feet ground floor space to live in 24/7 with plenty of enrichment including a dig box and shelters. She could be introduced to an indoor or outdoor home as her current set up caters for both.

Incident at Teggs Nose.

A livestock attack occurred between approximately 18:00hrs and 19:00hrs on Monday the 18th of May 2026, in land just below Teggs Nose Country Park near Macclesfield.

Sheep were chased by the offending dog, one of the sheep suffered serious injuries to its neck although thanks to the rapid intervention of the farmer it has so far survived the ordeal.

It is understood that at the relevant time there was an adult white male wearing a white baseball cap and black jacket in the area, who was walking a brown dog described as being slightly smaller than a Border Collie – if you think this person could be you, or you think you know who it was we would be interested to hear from you.

Anyone with information should contact us via 101 using the crime reference: 26000394523

A reminder to all dog owners – livestock worrying legislation has recently changed with offences now carrying tougher penalties! It is your responsibility to always keep your dog under close control around livestock!

Very important message πŸ—£οΈ

Why neutering matters πŸ’™

Every unwanted litter adds pressure to rescues already stretched to capacity.

Neutering helps prevent homelessness, reduces suffering, and can improve your cat’s health and behaviour.
