Pet Classics is back for 2026!

Through the whizzes and bangs of fireworks season, we’re creating the ultimate audio sanctuary for pets across the nation with three nights of specially-selected classical music, designed to keep your furry, scaled, and feathered friends calm.

Classic FM presenters Dan Walker, Aled Jones, and Dawn O’Porter will each host a night of the programme, playing calming music and giving personalised dedications to the nation’s pets, with top tips and advice from the RSPCA along the way.

Listen on Global Player, DAB+ and 100-102 FM, on your smart TV, or ask your smart speaker to “Play Classic FM”.

St Annes Community Choir is looking for a Musical Director and pianist for our mixed voice choir. 🎼🎶🎵🎹

Help us keep the Music Alive
Our hearts are heavy, but our voices must carry on.

Following the devastating loss of our beloved Musical Director, Dr Kevin Morgan, the St. Anne’s Community Choir faces its toughest challenge yet. Kevin dedicated his life to bringing harmony, joy and unity to our community. The greatest tribute we can pay to his memory is to ensure our choir does not fall silent.

How you can help?
•Are you a choir director, conductor and/or musician that would be willing to lead us?
•Do you know of someone who could help us? Please spread the word.

We meet on Wednesday evenings 7pm – 8:30pm at the Well Centre, St. Albans Road, St. Annes.

Mary, did you know……. that we will be returning to rehearsals one week today!
Hope to see you all back from your holidays looking all tanned and healthy! And if anyone is thinking of joining a choir this is one of the best times to start, so come along and join us at 6.45pm at the Well Community Centre on St Albans Rd on Wednesday 2nd September.
