Ansdell in Bloom In both 2017 and 2018 Ansdell in Bloom achieved a prestigious Gold Award in the NW Britain in Bloom Awards.

Established in 2006 by a small group of dedicated volunteers, Ansdell in Bloom creates beautiful displays and hosts community events to bring people together and help maintain our environment. Ansdell in Bloom has been in existence for over 14 years and consists of a small number of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to keep their village looking beautiful. olunteers from the community to make Ansdell an even better place to live and continue to maintain & improve community spirit.

It's here! It's Judgement day for Ansdell in Bloom!
I would like to thank everyone who has helped us this year.
I'm hugely proud of what the team and the community have achieved!
Now it's up to the judges.......

As ever if you see any dead looking flowers please carefully remove the heads.
If anyone wants to help to remove any weeds in the pavement we would appreciate it.

Good Morning it's super Saturday only three more days to go before judging!
If you see any flowers that have gone over and are on their way out could you gently pinch the dying heads off please.
We will be out and about over the next two days doing what we can in final preparation.

It's Started.....The countdown to Ansdell's big day!!
Next Tuesday a week today we are being judged for the national Britain in Bloom competition!!!

The ladies with the help of the odd gentleman have worked tirelessly to get all our displays and gardens looking as fantastic as possible.

Now it's your turn.......... please if you live on Woodlands Road or have a business on there have a look out of the front of it..
If you see any weeds or litter please.... pretty please get rid of it...

Yes it's not "your job" nor is it ours but you will see us doing it!

Pride in where we live and who we are marks us out as being a community....be a real part of our community.

It that time of year folks! The judging has started!
We are going to be judged this Friday morning for the regional competition and the 4 th of August for the National one...
Please if you live or work on Woodlands Road have a look round your home or business if you have a planter near you water it! As we are due some hot weather also if you see any litter again please clear it up.
