Ansdell in Bloom

Directions

In both 2017 and 2018 Ansdell in Bloom achieved a prestigious Gold Award in the NW Britain in Bloom Awards.

Established in 2006 by a small group of dedicated volunteers, Ansdell in Bloom creates beautiful displays and hosts community events to bring people together and help maintain our environment. Ansdell in Bloom has been in existence for over 14 years and consists of a small number of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to keep their village looking beautiful. We need more volunteers from the community to make Ansdell an even better place to live and continue to maintain & improve community spirit.

We only went and did it! GOLD award in the Britain in Bloom National final!!!!
I am bursting with pride for the team who have worked so hard this and indeed every other year.
This was our first time of being entered into the National competition so to come home with this is a truly remarkable achievement.
Pictured from right to left are Karen, Pauline and Rosemary. Our special guest is Richard Redcliffe the current mayor of Fylde and a long time supporter of our group.
Thankfully we now enjoy significant support from both Fylde Borough and Ansdell & Fairhaven Parish Council As well as all our lovely residents.

Profitable afternoon spent doing what is hopefully going to be the last lawnmowing session of the season!
All the beds and planters around the village are still looking wonderful even at this very late time of the year.
So go out and enjoy them before winter sets in.
Cheers
